I led the visual layout and art direction for GRAMMY-winner Ashley McBryde’s powerhouse studio album, Wild. Working directly with the raw, evocative photography of Nathan Chapman, I translated the record's themes of personal reckoning, grit, and untamed resilience into a cohesive visual narrative. My role spanned from conceptualizing the final cover art and immersive physical packaging to designing a comprehensive suite of high-impact marketing assets for the global album rollout.

photography & curation

For this project, I partnered closely with acclaimed photographer Nathan Chapman to capture and direct the campaign's visual assets. Responsible for meticulously reviewing, selecting, and sequencing the raw portraiture, ensuring the lighting, textures, and tone established a powerful, cohesive anchor for the entire era's aesthetic.

cover art & typography

By balancing the raw, striking imagery with intentional, hand-tailored typography and layout choices that complemented Ashley McBryde's authentic image, I conceptualized and executed the final album cover art along with an alternate cover. I made sure that this cover would ensure high legibility and strong shelf-presence,

physical product packaging

I designed and built out the complete physical products, including vinyl gatefolds, lyric inserts, and a CD pack. Along with this, I worked closely with the marketing lead to design a direct-to-fan experience utilizing Wild-branded envelopes and custom mailer notes that allowed fans to unlock online passcodes for early listening access and album pre-saves. To establish an authentic, localized street takeover across Nashville, I developed rustic wild postings, large-scale window clings, and custom match boxes. By translating these gritty textures and custom typography into a flexible system of social-first digital assets, I ensured a highly engaging, synchronized brand presence from the physical street corner to the online feed.
